REBAR HANGOUT: Our second REBAR Hangout is coming up! Join us Friday the 17th from 3:00–5:30 in the Lakeview Room for food, games, and fun. (Note the new ending time) The only refreshments will be those provided by REBAR and student donations. If you’d like to donate, drop off food, drinks, or games in the office before school and REBAR will deliver them to the Lakeview Room.
Important: if you come to the hangout, plan to stay at the hangout. You’re welcome to drop in for part of the time or stay the whole afternoon, but this is about building community, not grabbing food and leaving or hanging out elsewhere.
BLOOD DRIVE: I’m excited to announce that a Blood Drive will be held on October 23, 2025 from 10AM-4PM. No appointment is needed; just show up anytime you can. The donation process takes ~45 minutes (~30 minutes to fill out information and recover, 5-10 minutes for the actual donation). This is your chance to give back and save lives - one donation can make a huge difference in our community. To be eligible to donate, you must:
Weigh at least 110 lbs.
Can’t have donated less than 56 days ago (you must wait at least 56 days between each donation).
Be 16 or older. (If you’re 16, you will need a parent consent form, which can be found and turned in at the AR office. If you’re 17, just show up with your ID!)
Feel good and be in good health. (You’re feeling well and can perform normal activities.)

ACCESS HUMBOLDT: Hi, it's Mackenzie! I have been eager and excited to announce that I have been able to partner with Access Humboldt (our local radio station here on campus) to host and create a segment on KZZH 96.7 FM for AR! The show will be called “The AR Frequency”, discussing all things AR, and explaining to locals what AR is if they aren’t familiar. My biggest goal for the show is to give students here at AR a voice. Which is why I need your help! Please fill out this short survey for me to give me a better idea of what YOU want to hear on the show. (AR Staff may fill out too.)
