It is inter-district transfer time of year!
Parents are making the important decision of where their students will be attending school in the fall of 2023. The great news is Fortuna Union School District IS accepting inter-district transfers. Not only are we currently accepting inter-district transfers, FUHSD is NOT constrained by the February 15th deadline that other districts require because we do not participate in the "county-wide inter-district agreement." Our district firmly believes parents/guardians should have the right to choose where their students receive their education. In keeping the students very best interest in mind, we do not believe you can put a timeline (or deadline) on that decision. We encourage all parents/students who want to attend our district to follow the process put in place which starts at the district of residence.
