Join us at the DELAC (District English Learner Advisory Committee), where parents, school staff, and community members come together to support and enhance the educational experience for our English learners. We meet every other month in the Fortuna Union High School Library.

During our meetings, conducted in Spanish, we discuss important updates for parents and bring in guest speakers from the community. Our goal is to ensure that Spanish-speaking parents feel welcomed, informed, and connected to our schools. DELAC plays a crucial role in recommending services and programs to school administration, and we actively advise staff on how to best support our English learners.

Everyone in the Fortuna Union High School District—staff, parents, and community members—is invited to attend these meetings. Whether you're a parent looking to get more involved, a staff member interested in the programs we recommend, or a community member eager to contribute, we would love to have you join us!
