The Fortuna High School District Board of Trustees is excited to announce that on Monday, April 17th,2023, the board voted 5-0 to accept the contract of Mr. Clint Duey as the Superintendent of the Fortuna Union High School District, effective 7/1/2023.
Mr. Duey began his career at Fortuna High School 22 years ago as a History Teacher. Mr. Duey continued to grow with the District and became Principal in 2012 and has served the District in that position for the last 11 years. Clint is not only a good leader, but he also fosters positive relationships with students, staff, and the community.
Our District Vision statement reads: To provide an environment of opportunity that encourages, promotes community, and supports all students to maximize their potential. The board is pleased and encouraged by the efforts of Mr. Duey over the years and feels his experience and longevity with the District embody this vision and is confident that, under Clint’s leadership, the District will continue its momentum and success in the future.
